The Dollar Value of Posting for New Customers
ByThere are two basic ways to drive traffic to a website. You can advertise and/or you can create traffic Organically. 
Advertising could include using Pay Per Click, Direct Mail, Newspapers, TV, or paying someone to create links. Organic traffic creation could include blogging, p/r, articles, social media, and emailing. In either case, your success of having a visitor interact with you might rest on the content of your site and the ease of use.
One of my site NaturalFoodWebsite talks a lot about “happiness”. If I Google ” happiness” I am likely to find there are 355 million results meaning the word appears on that many internet pages. My site is frequently on page one and last night had two posts in positions two and three on page one. My traffic had increased by a third to 125 visits a day.
I visited Google ad sense to see how much it costs to drive traffic. The word “happiness” can be bought for the first position at $1 a click. If I wanted 40 visits a day it would cost me $40 a day. The traffic I got from posting and tweeting was free.
If my site had the content that was appealing, I might get a follower or a customer. The second advantage of building content Organically is that you are building depth for your keywords. Simply advertising does not create depth and doesn’t create content. Getting people to your site is only half the battle.
